Money from aluminum window frames

Thanks to the Mike Davis family for donating the scrap aluminum from your windows. Also, thanks to the Jason Pyne family for donating their old dishwasher. We have now earned $580 dollars towards my project!

Utah Lake Commission Features My Eagle Project

On Monday the Utah Lake Commission featured my Eagle project on their home page.  I was excited to see some interest in my project.  My mom helped me add a PayPal button to my blog.
After that, I was really excited for the donation from Darren Labrum who put the total raised to over $500.  Thanks Darren, we're over half-way there!

While I was looking at the Utah Lake home page I found this interesting video about Utah Lake.  I could not believe how many carp these guys can catch.  It was pretty cool.

Community Interest in the June sucker

My family met some nice people at the annual Utah Lake Festival this year.  We were attracted to their booth because their company has a really unique name, June Sucker Coffee.  Although I don't drink coffee (I'm sure they have really great hot cocoa), I share a common interest with the ladies at the coffee shop: increasing the awareness of the endangered June sucker.  Thanks, June Sucker Coffee, for your support of my Eagle Project!

Donated metal

On Saturday we picked up some sheet metal from a friend of our neighbor.  The metal was worth $64.25, bringing the total to be $370.97.  Getting closer!

Fund raising update

I have earned $306 dollars so far but I still need to raise a lot more money!

My Eagle Project Blog

I'm not too much into computers and such, but I agreed it would be a good idea to have a place where people can go to find out information and how to help me out with my Eagle Scout project.  This is the first post in my new blog for my Eagle Project to help the endangered June sucker.  If you would like to help me or donate to this project, please contact me at EagleProjectJuneSucker@gmail.com.  Thanks for your help!
