We need your help raising more funds for the kiosk.

Last weekend my grandparents helped me out with my project by donating aluminum cans and giving me some cash.  We're up to $719.83!  Thanks to both of my grandma's and grandpa's!

The kiosk I want is going to be more expensive than I planned by about $1000.  I guess this is why it's called a project.

I have been working with a graphic artist in my neighborhood on the first drafts of my sign.

Every little bit counts

Last week we dropped off another load of aluminum cans from the Setzers and some electrical motors from the Andersons.  We're now over $700!

I met with Scott Root of the DWR on a field trip to Lower Hobble Creek.  We decided where the signs are going to be placed.  We also decided on two sign panels, one describing the June sucker and one describing Lower Hobble Creek.

More money for my project from scrap metal

My brother, his friend and I cleaned up some more donated metal from Keith Anderson, and some aluminum cans and other metal from the Setzers, bringing the total raised for my project to be $695.90.  Only about $300 more to go.  Here are some pictures of me dropping off the metal and collecting the money at Western Metals Recycling.

Aluminum clean up brings total to $645

Friends from my Varsity Team and Venturing Crew and I cleaned up some donated aluminum from Keith Anderson over the holiday break.  My grandma and grandpa Faber also donated a bunch of aluminum cans.  We were able to get almost $40 from the donated aluminum.  Thanks to Oakley, Easton, T, Skyler and Caleb for helping clean up the metal.  And thanks to my mom for the pizza!
